• S.W.O.T Self employed

Strengths:

• ·        The advantage my organisation has is that there are many routes and jobs to choose from within the industry, all are similar in skill therefore it’s easy to not choose one path.
• ·        The thing I am best at is drawing and 3D modelling so I would prefer a career/job set around these skills
• ·        We would “get the sale” due to my skills in Maya 

Weakness

• ·        I could improve on my programming/maths skills
• ·        I should avoid anything involving maths
• ·        The people in my market are likely to see my programming and maths as a weakness
• ·        If you mean losing sales in a business then it shouldn’t lose sales because there will be other people doing the programming? If you mean I myself would lose sales (not getting hired) then programming, right now I’m terrible at it but in the future I might not be. You can’t predict the future I might be amazing at it.

 Opportunities

• ·        The good opportunities I can spot is if there’s a job going for a concept artist or 3D modeller I will have the skills to do it and it will help me build up my portfolio
• ·        The current trend is a need for 3D modellers in the industry with software such as Maya upgrading all the time expert modellers are hard to find.

Threats

• ·        The obstacles I face is not enough experience or money to get the software I need to improve
• ·        I don't know what my competitors are doing at the moment i am in college
• ·        Quality standards are changing due to an advancement in technology and software, with this upgraded software and programmes employers expect better quality work.
• ·        Technology isn’t threatening my position I use it every day and will grow up with it, old people should be more threatened.
• ·       No I don’t have debt I’m 17
• ·        Considering by the time I get into the business I’ll have money and more experience in everything the only threat is my programming skills but that is not the route i am choosing to take
